Its been a while, hasn't it? How is everything? How's the guy situation? How's life at home?

Hello love, I haven't talked to you in a while, I hope all is well :]

As uncomfortable as thats going to be, it would be even worse if you got hurt.

Talk to him, sweetheart.

Well, not lately. From mid-October to mid-December he said he wanted to be with me and then things were kinda distant during break but now it seems like he does want it too. Agh, I guess I really need to have that dreaded conversation sooner or later. :[

So has he given you a straight answer as to what he wants?

Well, he came to visit tonight and we spent most of it cuddling & watching a movie. SO now we're back to that again. It's like a never ending confusing cycle! Ahhhhh

Perhaps he just doesn't know what he wants? And if he doesn't, no need for you to suffer.

Ah, well he's out there somewhere!

Another place, another time; different story.

So, where are all the other good men like you hiding? I can't seem to find them!

:console:

He played you. Not only should he have had the presence of mind to take advantage of the one-on-one time with you so you could talk about issues at hand or get closer, he had no business inviting another female along. He either knew you had something to talk about and, in cowardly fashion, brought along someone else to pose as a barrier. Or, he might have been a dog about it and brought along some other girl just because he could. I don't know and I don't know him, but based on what you told me, things aren't looking too good.

Maintain your dignity and drop him. You can do far better. Don't settle for someone if he's not going to treat you like a queen.

So I finally got out to visit my boy. We went down to a river, made a fire and sat around. Then we went back to his place to start a movie while he cooked dinner... it wasn't so bad, well except for the fact that he invited another girl along. Talk about awkward! Ah, I feel now is a good time to give up. I didn't even have time to talk to him about "us" or anything really, so I'm guessing since he hasn't tried to do anything in a while that he just doesn't feel the same anymore. I guess I need to stop getting attached to bad guys. :[

First and foremost, you have to be a little selfish and worry about yourself. Get a job, make some extra cash, get comfortable with your schedule and get into your groove. If things aren't going to work between you two, then at least feel confident that you did what you could. As for your father giving you shit, by taking the necessary steps to prove that you can be independent, he should recognize your efforts.

As for everything else in between, accept what you can't control.

Eh, I'm ok I guess. Even though I desperately needed a break from classes, I haven't really been enjoying my time home. I only talk to about three friends from high school/home, two of which are dating, so I never really do much. Also, things at home have been pretty tense for some reason. So, I'm on a quest for a studio apartment at school so I won't have to come home as frequently. I'm looking forward to going back to school, but not back to classes. Things with my boy don't seem to be getting much better either, so I don't really have much to look forward to. Plus, I'm a bum and I don't have a job here (which I get so much shit for from my dad) so I just sit around on my butt all day if I'm not out with friends or shopping. :[

Yea, but it's been a few days. I've been keeping regular contact with her. She'll be back soon enough.

How are you?

Posted by fameONE on Dec 30, 08 1:57 am

Oh my gosh, I am so sorry to hear that. I guess she'll be staying home for a while, right? :[

The morning was fantastic. She woke up in my arms and wished me a Merry Christmas. We lounged around, watched a few movies and just enjoyed the time off from work and the time with each other. A little after noon, our friend knocks on the door and told her that she got a Red Cross message. Her father was dying and she needed to go home.

After the paperwork got signed, we spent the entire night at the flightline just trying to get her on a bird into the safe zone (Kuwait) so she could fly back to Chicago. It's been a few days and I've been in contact with her but I just got news that her Pops didn't make it. The priest just came in.

For once, I'd like to have a holiday season that doesn't stink of death.

Aww, what happened?!

Posted by Matsumoto on Dec 29, 08 11:58 am

To be quite honest, Christmas morning was the best I've had in years. Then it got pretty bad. =\
