Yeah, hey. How long will you have your current work schedule? :/
That bites. The opposite of sugoi.
I've been...thinking a lot.
Haha, you actually have your number up! Not afraid of getting prank calls?
Yea, I've been incredibly busy with work. 14 and 15 hour days in a military setting can take a toll on you. I'm a little fed up with my job and I can't wait for this contract to be up. Other than that, I'm good. How have you been?
It feels like I haven't seen you on in a while. Work keeping you that busy?
Haha, sure, I'll try to get on sometime. I only use AIM a few times a week.
The "was" threw me off. :P
Oh really, now? I'm not too great with soccer. Lacking foot-eye coordination. xD But...I can play Wii Sports? LOL.
It'd be great if you moved back to NY. Then you could come to a Northeast CB meet-up if there's another one (James [monster] brought one up for possibly this summer). You know you want to rep the East Coast. ;D
And whenever you read this, ohayo gozaimasu! Genki desu? XD
Haha, I think you misunderstood my comment. XD
My mother is still alive and kickin' (literally, she plays soccer).
I'd like to move back to NY, I really would. There's an extremely small detachment in Garden City, conveniently around the corner from Adelphi. Go figure. We'll see, but I want to go back to SoCal.
"Was"? Does that mean she's deceased now? |:
I don't think I've been to Brownsville before. But yeah, all of NYC is pretty expensive to live in, not just Manhattan. :/
Would you consider moving back to NY in a few years?
My mother is from Brownsville. And I was planning on moving there when I got accepted to Adelphi. But after being there for about a month, I realized that (with the money I had), I didn't have the ends to live life.
Another one of my friends told me that book is good. I think I'll try to read it, then get back to you on what I think. :]
I live in Queens, but I lived in Brooklyn for a few years when I was little. Why?
Siddhartha by Herman Hesse is amazing. I've read it over, over and over again. So what part of New York do you live in?
That's still cool. I know a few people who have picked up some Japanese from listening to J-pop and watching anime, but that doesn't work for me.
I'm fine, just browsing CB and being bored.
What's your favorite book?
I won't be fluent, haha. I don't even study. The only reason why I know this much is because I'm around Japanese people whenever I'm not on base. Picking up on conversations has helped pave the way to communicating back.
So how are you?
Let's stick to profile comments; I don't like PMs. ^^;
I still haven't memorized the differences between kanji, hiragana, and katakana. Japanese is too complicated. Do you think you'll ever become fluent, since you're going to Iraq in August?
In response to your PM: Haha, am I really?
And are you fluent in Japanese?
