I'll only be in Okinawa for eight days; just long enough to return the gear that was issued to me for this deployment and to check out of my unit. Of course, I'll be shopping and frequenting my favorite bar before I leave. Not to mention, I'll take a TON of pictures. ^_^

Yea, I've been stationed in Okinawa for two years. Now, I'm my last days of my combat deployment in Iraq. I'm about to go to Kuwait, back to Okinawa, Texas, then drive up to DC (to work at Headquarters USMC).

i think i've seen a photo of you in okinawa, was that where you base was? man i love okinawa.

No, Ma'am. I am in the Marine Corps. Huge difference. It's not a bad gig at all. I'm able to finish school while maintaining a pretty decent income.
